Enterprise Logic is looking for a Senior System Admin to join our growing team. Work with some of the best minds in the industry on cutting edge applications and large scale solutions.The following are the Job Responsibilities of a Senior System AdminDesign, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systemsAdminister and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Linux and VMware technologiesDevelop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plansDesign and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environmentDefine and document best practices and support proceduresProvide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenanceMaintain inventory and asset configuration documentationAssist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiationsMentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologiesInteract with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
Specification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant experienceMicrosoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (XP/7)Linux/UNIX administration Advance Knowledge of Solaris, AixManaging in excess of 50 Windows Server infrastructureManaging deployments/rolloutsManaging large scale Citrix/2X/Terminal Server installationsManaging server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual ServerA solid understanding of LAN/WAN networkingCisco Certified Network Associate or Professional -CCNA/ CCNP MCITP ServerGroup Policy design and configurationMicrosoft IIS administration and configurationActive Directory/LDAP user and group administrationAbility to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issuesLAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)Strong communication and documentation skills
